The newcomer rings in fierce, African and chic with sheer floor length lacy numbers, leather-tulle mix pieces crafted in skater bustier, A-line minis for the first ever collection done in time to celebrate Valentine's week

Balloon sleeves, tiered flared sleeves, cold shoulder, embellished necklines were some of the details used on the pieces in the collection tagged 'Black Fusion'.
The collection takes inspiration from the African style lover taking major cue from Afrocentric and Bohemian styles. The brand  made a case for the "strong, sexy, independent and driven woman's atmosphere with textured lace fabric, variating V necklines, frills, and feminine curves".

"The fashion house is kicking off with a change the game theme called; Black fusion, taking out the expected colour for Valentine, replacing hot red with sizzling, sexy, melanin fuelled and classy black in spirit of black culture month" the brand revealed about switching looks up in black.
The brand's creative director; Ife Olumeku "is the bohemian influenced, Afrocentric fashionista behind this fast rising clothing line. She is a hands-on tailor-couturier, well travelled which has taken over this Valentine Spring outfits influenced by various cultures from across the world (from  the Asian Kimono to the American All stars, to the Caribbean frills and the English corset and roses, all woven into the modern African woman's fashion sense" the brand noted in an email.

Pulse Style's daily fashion inspiration where fashion enthusiasts/ fashion loving individual styles are broken down to serve as a style pointer for everyday wear and more.
Outfit of the day inspiration is a chic take on the ever versatile African 'Ankara' print for the modern trendsetter!
Style inspiration is taken off Nini Efegbola's bardot Ankara print top with flap details worn over high waist flared denim in a light wash. She chose the simple but chic look with red classic flap bag wearing soft makeup and smokey eyes complete with nude lips.

The style blogger left her hairdown in dark snazzy waves with dainty silver accessories to spruce up the look. What do you think of Nini's chic print look?

Peep House of Kaya's demure elegant "YAR TSAURI" collection at LFDW 2016

Conservative fashion brand House of Kaya shows off a collection of stunning pieces at LFDW 2016

House of Kaya presented on the last day of Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2016 on the 29th October.
The conservative fashion brand showed off a collection of stunning maxi dresses, kaftans with elegant drapes. Last year House of Kaya caught my attention at the fashion week with how much classy, elegant and easy the designs were without ignoring the muse's sensuality all while being conservative.

Surprisingly the brand's creative director behind the statement creations is male; Ibrahim Abdulmumini Aminu who understands the woman body with his endless creation of flowing silk beauties with stunning details complete with embellished head wraps.
The designs come from the new collection tagged "YAR TSAURI" drawn form the past and present day Northern African Hausa woman. The flattering fits, the drapery, structured yet soft silhouettes, embellishments and voluminous details that stood out each design were simply elegance redefined.
Cotton, brocades, silk in bold colours lit up the stage showing House of Kaya is definitely going to be around for a while, it gets better with every collection and this was definitely a good one

Designer to collaborate with Target on affordable limited edition collection

Designer to collaborate with Target on affordable limited edition collection

Victoria Beckham announces collaboration with Target and pieces are set at retail prices of between $6 to $70!

Victoria Beckham is set to collaborate with Target on a limited-edition collection.

The designer who made a first announcement to Business Of Fashion reveals a launch date set for April 9th 2017 for a limited edition collaboration with the US retailer (Target) for clothing items priced between $6 to $70!
The British designer who has since confirmed the collaboration via Instagram is set to release more than 200 items for the limited edition collection which will include clothing as well as accessories for women and children making a subtle entrance into childrenswear which she hints might be her next project.
The designer revealed the collaboration inspired by her Victoria by Victoria Beckham line is in the offing for fans of the brand who are not able to afford the luxury line to be able to own a VB piece.
"I can reach so many more women through working with Target. It's not just because of the price point but because of how many stores that they have, located all around America. These are women that I haven't been able to reach out to in the past, and I always say that I want to empower women and make women look like the best versions of themselves. That shouldn't be only people who can afford to spend a certain amount of money." Victoria Beckham told Business Of Fashion about the collaboration.
