Transgender man Trystan Reese is pregnant with partner Biff Chaplow

Transgender man Trystan Reese is pregnant with partner Biff Chaplow

TRYSTAN Reese has short dark hair, a thick beard and a protruding belly that peeks out from the waistband of his trousers. It’s a baby bump — he is 35 weeks pregnant.

Trystan is a transgender man who has not undergone gender reassignment surgery. He and his partner Biff Chaplow, who live in Portland in the US, are preparing to welcome the child they conceived naturally.

The couple already have two children — they adopted Biff’s niece and nephew out of a troubled home — and shared their story on the popular parenting podcast The Longest Shortest Time.

Here they explain what their pregnancy experience has been like.

On finding out they were pregnant:

Before the couple decided they wanted to fall pregnant, Trystan was taking testosterone, which meant he grew facial hair and stopped getting his period — but it came back after he stopped taking his hormones.

Trystan and Biff tried for months to fall pregnant but were having little luck.

“One morning I woke up and I felt really, really bad,” Trystan said on the podcast.

“Like I had a fever bad, like lying on the tiles of the bathroom floor because how cool they are — feels good on your face kind of bad.

“And I randomly grabbed one of the tests and it came back positive. And I was like ‘Oh my God, this is actually happening’. I had to go wake [Biff] up and I was like ‘Ah I’m pregnant.’

“He was a little bit sleepy but he was just like ‘I told you so.’ So that’s still, like, romantic. He said ‘I’m really excited to start planning for you. But like is it OK with you if I go back to sleep now?’”

Mum warns women not to keep phones in their bras

Mum warns women not to keep phones in their bras

GEORGIE Tufnail, 31, suffered an infection in her left boob after her Galaxy S7 caused the injury.

Georgie is on antibiotics to treat the wound, which she said was “hot and seeping”, The Sun reports
She said she put the handset down her bra when she was in a rush with her young son.
She noticed it felt hot, but two hours later she took the phone out and found the nasty injury.
She said: “It was a line of disgusting green pus. It was obvious from where it was that it was the phone.”
Fulltime mum Georgie, of Chatham, Kent, saw her doctor, who prescribed antibiotics.
She said: “The first thing my doctor said was, ‘Is it a Samsung?’ I had no idea of their problems.

“I just want to warn people not to keep their phones there.
“I know people do because it’s just easy access.

“Some girls on nights out might do it if they haven’t taken a bag with them.
“Also men should be careful about keeping them in their pockets.
“It burnt my skin away.”
Samsung said in a statement: “There are no known issues with the Samsung Galaxy S7. Until Samsung is able to obtain and examine any device, it is impossible to determine the true cause of any incident.

“Customer safety remains our highest priority and we are working to contact Ms Tufnail in order to obtain the device in question and conduct a thorough investigation.”
Samsung had to recall its Note 7 handset after some exploded when problems with the battery made them overheat.

Aussie model posts amazing transformation from pregnant to six pack in eight weeks

Aussie model posts amazing transformation from pregnant to six pack in eight weeks

AN AUSSIE model has shown the incredible difference just six months can make, by sharing side-by-side shots which detail her journey from pregnancy to ripped sixpack

Mother-of-two Tammy Hembrow, from Queensland, previously wowed her 5.6 million Instagram followers with these pictures – taken just eight weeks after she gave birth.
Thanks to her commitment to fitness, the stunning blonde fitness guru has completely snapped back into shape, and is now looking better than ever.

Posting these comparison shots yesterday, Hembrow wrote: “Being a mum is the best thing I’ve ever experienced.

“The sleepless nights, the poo explosions, the endless spit ups, the tantrums, the first words, the giggles, the unconditional love, the snuggles.

“I love EVERYTHING about being a mama to my two little loves and I thank God every single day for giving me the best gifts I could have ever imagined. It’s a 24/7 job and it’s a job I LOVE.”

The pictures show Hembrow wearing the exact same outfit. In one snap, she’s ready to pop with her second child – and, in the next, she’s back to her toned pre-baby body.
She’s even sporting the same plaited hairstyle. Most of her followers were impressed by the transformation, with one writing: “How beautiful you are!”

Others expressed their shock, with one woman writing: “How is this real?”
You’d be forgiven for thinking Hembrow isn’t human after seeing her transformation, but she does share some ‘flaws’ with other mummies.
Just a few days ago, Hembrow shared this pic, which shows loose skin hanging around her belly area.

IF ANYTHING was going to ensure that Mark Aulger would do everything in his power to beat his cancer it was the news that his wife Diane was pregnant with their fifth child.
After eight months of chemotherapy, Mark had been cleared of stage 3 colon cancer and the family had their best Christmas ever.
But on New Year’s Day, Mark collapsed and was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis — a scarring that takes place within the lungs and impedes the flow of oxygen to the brain and other vital organs.
Mark was told by the doctors that he was highly unlikely to meet their baby girl because he only had a week to live.
But his wife Diane was determined that this was not going to happen — so she made the tough decision to forgo her initial plans of having a natural birth and get induced early to give her husband the opportunity to hold their baby before he passed away.
“I thought I would be having her by myself I was very happy — they were going to keep us together for the birth,” his wife Diane says on The Doctors show.
Savannah was born via C-section on January 18 and Mark was the first person to hold the gorgeous little girl. He cradled her for 45 precious minutes.
“When we induced the labour he was in a bed side-by-side with me. For me it was a beautiful day — he was there wide awake and alert for the whole day,” Diane says.
“When the nurse cleaned up the baby and gave her to Mark you could see the complete pain in his eyes — he still talked to her and told her that he was her daddy and that he loved her.”

Mark also got to hold her for a minute the following day before slipping into a coma and then passing away two days later.

“He had been in a coma for about 48 hours and I could see on the monitor that his stats were dropping and he would passing away very soon, so I put her in his arms and held his hand until he stopped breathing.”
Diane wants nothing more than her husband to be by her side to watch their five beautiful children grow and flourish.
“I just miss him — I miss him very much. We were really, really, really in love.”
